The Pirate Bay could be blocked in the UK within months

Last year the MPA won a court case which required BT to block Newzbin2 and at that point it was predicted that many more would follow. Their next target was obviously going to be The Pirate Bay as it is regarded as the largest advocates of online piracy. Today that became a realisation with nine labels requesting The Pirate Bay be blocked.

Anonymous hacks marine corps massacre case

Anonymous have been extremely busy today and not contempt with hacking the FBI they’ve gone after Puckett and Faraj who defended the corporal in his court case. The case in question involved marines mercilessly killing innocent civilians as revenge and named the Haditha Killings.

FileSonic and Uploaded.to bow out in light of recent events

After Megaupload was shutdown earlier this week another large file-sharing website has shutdown its services. A statement was posted on FileSonic’s home page informing users that no further uploads would be allowed.
